The Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting was held in Beijing on 10 and 11 July 2025.
The event was hosted by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and attracted over 600 guests from 140 countries and regions.
The theme was “Safeguarding Diversity of Human Civilizations for World Peace and Development” and the focus was made on the importance of cultural diversity and mutual learning in advancing human progress.
At parallel sub-forums, participants explored the crucial role of inter-civilization exchange and mutual learning in building an inclusive world and promoting global development and prosperity, cultural inheritance and innovation, understanding and friendship among peoples, scientific and technological progress, and academic exchange.

WFEO Executive Council Member and Past President of the Institution of Engineers (India) Navinchandra Vasoya delivered a presentation and a keynote speech on “Inter-Civilization Exchanges and Mutual Learning : Innovative Development of Science and Technology“ hosted by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) on 11 July.
