Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers (ESE) to Host 2026 WFEO Executive Council Meetings

Paris, January 13, 2026 — The World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) has selected the bid submitted by the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers (ESE) to host the 2026 WFEO Executive Council (ExC) Meetings (Fall meetings) in Cairo.

The decision was made following the WFEO Executive Board meeting held on January 12, 2026. The selection reflects confidence in ESE’s institutional capacity and commitment to advancing engineering leadership in support of sustainable development.

The 2026 Executive Council Meetings will bring together WFEO leadership and representatives to address the Federation’s strategic priorities, exchange engineering expertise, and advance its mission as the global voice of engineering.

Hosting the meeting in Cairo underscores WFEO’s continued engagement with its members and recognizes Egypt’s long-standing contribution to the engineering profession.
